For more accurate activity tracking and to access full range of functions, it is recommended to connect your watch with your smartphone. During this process, you can update the current time and date, as well as input personal information such as age, height, and weight. Once you’ve been through the initial set up there is no need to keep it connected to your smart phone in order for it to function correctly. You don’t need to have your smart phone with you and you can still read the tracking result on your watch the real-time heart rate, SPO2，steps, distance, exercise duration and calories burned.
The watch has the capability to collect and store your activity data in real-time internally. Pairing the watch with your smartphone offers the benefit of syncing this data to the H Band app. This enables a neatly presented and recorded tracking result for your review, as well as the ability to maintain a record of your progress.
You can manually adjust the Date & Time ( Function interface > Settings > Date&Time ) on the fitness tracker. It is recommended to connect the fitness tracker with the app, as it can automatically update the time and date based on your smartphone’s settings.
